Home Coon Introduction, Story
1990 - Classic Guitar lessons Well, actually I wanted to play Trumpet. Though, playing flute in primary school wasn't that bad *lol* After a lot of discussions my parents (and I) finally decided for me to take guitar lessons. I kept up TWO months. Not bad, huh? Oh, I have say it, you CAN die on boredom, it's true !! *lol* 1991 - Do it yourself So after I banned my guitar to stay in the corner for over one year, I never planned to play guitar again. But there's a saying ... "Never say NEVER". I often found myself just holding the guitar and sometimes try "play" a bit. I got myself a Chord-Table and started to learn Chords like an idiot. Sometimes I broke my fingers on it. 2001 - Hank Marvin, the Shadows & Rock'n Roll September 2001 was my first time to play in a band as a rhythm guitarrist in a band called Shadows-Revival-Band. Not only that we're playing the instrumental songs of the Shadows. We also had some great Rock'n Roll stuff like "Johnny B. Goode" in store. Maybe a bit unusual for a young guy to play music from the 50ies/60ies/70ies. But I don't regret anything, and I'm still playing in that band for nearly five years, and we still have a blast doing what we do ;-) 2003 - BeSonic ... and the "Journey's End" Awesome ... now my songs can be heard by anyone all over the world. Woooooo ;-) I didn't take long, and I made my first collaboration experience with a band called Taste of Timeless. Actually, they just wanted me to play a guitar part with my E-Bow, but I also sang this song. And then it was Taste of Timeless feat. Coon.B! - Journey's End to enter and take over the Besonic Charts ;-) After we did "Loch Lomond" the same year, we decided to keep on working together, and so I joined the Band Taste of Timeless. 2005 - Say the magic word .... We finally finished up the musical story "Crying of the whales", and we decided to make it a "Side-Project", i.e. we packed the songs into a concept-album and had to choose a new band name. After a while we found a small progressive-rock label and distributor from UK (Cyclops Records). There it was ... ABARAX was born ;-) Our album "Crying of the Whales" was officially released February 2006. So would you please say the magic word ... A - BA - RRAXXXX 2006 - Finally ... BeSonic has come back !! Well, many of us (including myself) didn't believe this would ever happen. But finally the story has got it's happy end. oh me, oh my ... "never say NEVER"
