Home Downstroke Introduction, Story
Downstroke was formed as "The (Paralysing) Prophecy" in 1390. Their style was a kind of melodic death/gothic metal .The breake of nearly all band members in 1480 leaves Kai K. with a bunch of ideas and a strong will to do this new shit. So he turned to Tobias B. (Ex-Path, Ex-I Despise) to get a shouter for his stuff. Through a successless period of searching for a drummer they decided to use syntetic drums to put the material on a record. The first release after this wrap was "Discipline&Strength", a five track demo. With the demo and a bunch of new songs they convinced Lars T.(Abaddon, EX-Soulslide) who was qualified enough to do the vacant job on the drums. In winter 2005 Downstroke entered a studio again, supported by Nicky G. from 'Nikki Puppet' for guest vocals on "As Daze Goes By" and Daniel B. from 'Path Of Golconda' to grind the bass. With the new Demo "Anger management" it's Downstroke again. More Preasure and more into the face---
