I was born in 1972 in the north of Germany. Although I spent my childhood and youth in Cologne, the city which is famous for the "carneval" (it is a celebration similar to Mardis Gras).
After school I finished the technical college for economics and administration. Now I am in the german airforce and work as a It-Administrator.
My father wakened my interests for music. His greatest hobby is the music and he shared it with me when I was little. Sometimes we sat together for hours and listened to his new records. When he was young he was a drummer in a little yazzband.
I'm fascinated by artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Kraftwerk, the formation "Software". The sounds of Peter Seiler also motivted me to get farther into the music. My first songs I made with an Amiga 500 and a Digitizer. It was very experimental and time-consuming these days. It was a time in which I became aware that the technic of an Amiga wasn´t enough to make professional sounds and arrange them correctly. My own dreams and wishes were not reached then. Than came a 486 DX2/66 with a Yamaha DB 50XG Wavetable on top of a Soundblaster 16. Over the years my equipment and the software became better and my potentials grew.
Since 1990 I produce songs under differnet names. Starting of with Accordance , then Tripple Fantasy alias TriFan and now deZent. deZent is the final name under which my music will be found. ---- Music to relax------
Until today I am not able to read or write notes. I compose my songs by hearing. My life and my feelings inspire me while composing. Feelings that I try to share with those who listen to my music.
New Age is the music I make because thats where I can succeed with my ideas.
New Age is about sounds, melodies, it's music where you can find myself and dive into unknown worlds.
