The original band was born in October of 2004 and consisted of five members including Jake, Juan and Zach. During the early stages of the band there had been many lineup changes but the creative core stayed intact, providing them the ability to grow as songwriters and further cementing the direction and identity of the group and their sound. At first, the music was all about bouncy riffs with a lot of technical finger work thrown in, complemented by melodic singing and heavy growls looming over. The band soon realized they had created a decent sound, so things became more serious in mindset. A year went by , they kept writing and the band broke up and re-grouped. They soon got some shows under their belt and the resopnse was favorable and morale was high! Hooking up with producers Rich Spalla and Mike Hatalak they decided to go into the recording studio. Much to the band's surprise the rhythm and bass guitarists quit the band even before the recording began. Each for their own valid reasons, leaving the original band members stunned and scrambling to scrape up the money for the recording already set in motion. There was no way this would stop the remaining members. What was left of the band stepped into "It'll Do Studios"completely psyched to begin their first recording. Rich Spalla and Mike Hatalak would help them complete their first four song demo and soon after their first full length release. They were surprised to see half the band gone but everyone stood ready to carry their weight. Soon the demo was released (as in handed out at shows and placed on cars in the parking lot) in december of 2005. The search began for a new rhythm guitarist and bassist. The demo made it into the hands of the right people at Amherst Records. next thing there were meeting between the band and the label. Leading to a new practice space setting a date to return to" It'll Do Studios" to record a full length. Somewhere in between all this we found Eric Vaillancourt to handle the rhythm guitar and McCcue "Mac" Greene on bass. The band was whole again and stands as you hear it now. The long and stressful process of recording began again. It took almost two months to complete the final product. Now the band stands with a full line-up and is ready to hit the road and unearth their unique blend of hard rock that combines elements of metal with a melodic core and catchy hooks. Be ready for them when they hit your town.
