Southsection | BeSonic

"Southsection" 11 piece funky hip hop collective played live in and around Bristol during the late 1990's until 2003. Venue's such as The Thekla, The Blue Mountain, The Louisiana, The Croft, Fiddler's, The Mauritania and headlined at Eastville park Festival, Bristol, UK. 2003. During these performance's Southsection played with a number of other Bristol artist's and collective's such as Wilk's And The Wont Stop Family, Aspect's, Al-catraz, F.D.B. Crew, Ruff Intellect, Moqsha and many more. Southsection were promoted during 2000 by "Wildnight Promotion's".

In 2002, Southsection live collective were asked by Champion Record's to The Depot, King's Cross, London and record two track's, they recorded "Green Origin" and "Sum ahh", two track's they were frequently playing live at gig's.

Muscat and Barter produced 10 album's from 1999-2008. "Southsection" album's such as "Forth Alliance"-1999, "Disk Connection"-2002, "3"-2003, "Live Selection"-2003, "Replay"-2005, "House ep"-2005, "D+B Variations ep"-2005, "Progresser"-2005, "Catch The Sun"-2007, "More Vibes"-2008.

Muscat produced two solo album's. “Muscat Music”-2009 and “Muscat Universal Language”-2010, which was the 12'th album from the “Southsection” label.

“Muscat Music” The 11'th album from the “Southsection” label was the 1'st solo production album from Muscat - Southsection. Uptempo house, break's. Released 2009.

“Muscat - Universal Language” was the 12'th album from the “Southsection” label. The 2'nd solo production album from Muscat. 75-110 B.P.M, 9 tracks, 31 minuets. Featuring, Tom Barter-guitar, Beth Rowley and Muscat-vocal's. Released December 2010.
