| Thanks for checking me out. HaloPain is a one man project that started in 2001(although the music was being dreamed and thought up my whole life). Genre? Sure it says the genre on the pages and the song, but to say im a genre band is totally false. I have many many influences and many things i want to do and mesh and whatnot, limiting myself to a genre is impossible and frankly it isnt the kind of music i want to make. So to describe a song can be quite difficult to me as i am not thinking about genres as i make music, i think about making music period. My music has been described as film score-esque quite a bit, but more in the eternal sunshine/lost in translation/requiem for a dream/morvern callar way as opposed to , oh i dunno, Lord of the Rings or Titanic or something like that. I am continuing to expand my horizons and i have ventured into a vocal format lately and i have many projects on the horizon so expect much to come! Music is my life and i hope you find my music to be as much visual as it is audio, i am a big fan of story telling even without words. Anyway thats all I really can think to write right now.
