Mel Gray has been producing audio in one form or another since 1988. In 1997 he founded ACEtone Studio and ACEtone Records. As Eating Betty he has for several years, focused on producing the finest Dub known to mankind. Womenkind too. And then the live sessions began around 2003-2004 and have continued ever since...
In 2000 ACEtone Records released Eating Betty In Dub by Eating Betty. The album was recorded on 4 track and 8 track tape machines with some material produced on both analogue and digital equipment. It is a sonic journey through the dub production process, from composition, to expression through to engineering, mixing and mastering.
Composed, performed, recorded, mixed and mastered entirely at ACEtone Studio, the second Eating Betty DUB album, Reverbalism was released in 2005 and is available at the link below. It is crucial DUB, and has received many positive and enlightened reviews from serious listeners, musicians and DJs the world over. Most of the tracks have been deemed worthy of internet and FM radio play globally...
